About the Team

Caleb Christianson is the founder and CEO of Nano Lab, a leading provider of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) services. With over 14 years of experience in the field, Caleb is a highly skilled and experienced microscopist with a passion for helping companies develop and improve their products.

 

Caleb started Nano Lab because he saw a need for a high-quality SEM and EDS service provider that could help companies efficiently image, analyze, and de-risk their technologies and products. He believes that these techniques can be used to improve the quality and reliability of products, and he is committed to providing his customers with the best possible service.

 

Caleb received his Ph.D. in Nanoengineering from UC San Diego, where he developed actuators and sensors for soft robots. After graduating, he began worked as an engineer in early stage R&D at a leading medical device company, where he uses SEM and EDS to characterize the structure and properties of wearable sensors.

Caleb is a strong advocate for the use of SEM and EDS to improve the quality and reliability of products. He believes that these techniques can be used to identify defects, contaminants, and other potential problems early in the development process, which can save companies time and money.

In his spare time, Caleb enjoys surfing, reading, and spending time with his family.
